Imaginator Central: Requests/Commissions

Requests are almost always open, unless I get too overwhelmed and need a breather, or somesuch. But I only tend to work on 3-4 commissions at a time to keep queue moving. Feel free to email ( ) me to into the queue or get your image started right away.

What you get:
-A personalized status page informing you of my progess on your piece.
-Steady e-mail communication from me, for ideas, feedback, approvals and progress. (If I get busy or behind I do try to let you know.)
-For digital requests, a web quality JPG and a print quality TIF file (300dpi) of your image come with the price.

		$125+ (+$70 per extra char up to 3*)	Watercolor piece with pen outlining and minimal BG. 11x15" watercolor paper.

If you get just a Digital Sketch, I will take that into consideration should you change your mind later and wish to take it to the next level.

Base prices are for one character, single color or no background. Super detailed or complicated characters cost more than prices posted. Backgrounds can be negotiated through email. [Ideas for types backgrounds include full (a complete setting for the character), half-background (a partial setting behind the character, usually in a shape), and simple (something simple behind the character to keep them from being on just a white or single color field).]

*I've found that 3-4 characters in an image is my 'comfortable' limit, and when more are added the level of complication is completely dependant on what the client wants. For requests of more than 4 characters in one image the cost will fluctuate on a case-to-case basis.

If after your sketch is finalized and I have moved on to the next step (inks, colors, etc) and you decide to change what you want, requiring me to restart, redo, or greatly alter the commission, I will require an extra fee (to be determined based on the change).

I usually require my full fee before I begin work, but with commissions $75 and over I am willing to split the fee up into two payments; one to get me started, and one to finish.

I accept checks, money orders and Paypal. No cash. I only accept monetary compensation for my work. For Paypal payments I calculate in the transaction fee in addition to the commission total, not including shipping. The fee is often quite minimal.
